Today, you carry that same strength, intelligence, and potential within you. The future is waiting for your unique gifts, your voice, and your contributions to make history. Dream big, study hard, stay curious, and remember – you too can be a trailblazer whose story inspires the next generation. Your journey matters, your voice counts, and your possibilities are limitless. And please remember that your ancestors got killed just for reading a book, so don’t take education for granted. Make the teacher do their job and teach, be a good to yourself and be teachable, so you can look in the mirror and say I’m somebody, I will carry the torch and be that LEGACY, and I will pass the torch to my kid
Tour of the Museum
Marine Sate Park Day 1
The first day was focused on setting up camp and making sure everyone was comfortable. While we pitched tents and organized supplies, the kids had space to play and explore freely. We shared food and kept the mood light, making sure everyone felt welcome and relaxed. It was a calm start that set the tone for the rest of the trip.
Marine Sate Park Day 2
Day two was filled with exciting activities that kept everyone engaged. The kids spent time fishing by the water, painting colorful designs, and crafting their own custom socks. There was a lively energy throughout the day as everyone tried new things, shared smiles, and enjoyed being creative together. It was a joyful day full of laughter and memorable moments
Marine Sate Park Day 3
On the final day, we kept the fun going with more activities and a big highlight—a slip and slide that had everyone laughing and racing through the water. It was a perfect way to close out the weekend. As the day came to an end, there was a mix of joy and sadness. We weren’t ready for it to be over, but we left with great memories and a stronger bond than when we arrived.
All White Party Fundraiser
This past weekend, Shields of Joyy hosted an unforgettable All-White Party to raise funds for our upcoming Cleveland Zoo Trip on July 26th — and it was truly a night to remember!
The evening was filled with delicious food, vibrant music, live in-person entertainment, and an atmosphere overflowing with community, joy, and purpose. Guests showed up in stunning white attire, ready to celebrate and support a meaningful cause.
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Shields of Joyy took a group of kids on an educational field trip to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, where we enjoyed seeing amazing animals up close. We spent the day walking the zoo, learning new facts about each animal, eating great food, and having a fun, memorable experience together.
Our Shields of Joyy family had an unforgettable day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo! From seeing incredible animals to learning new facts and sharing laughs over good food, it was a trip filled with fun, education, and community joy. 💜

Our Trinity Harmony event was truly unforgettable — filled with soul-stirring gospel singing, powerful poetry, and expressive mime that moved the crowd. Every performance carried a message of hope, faith, and unity.
De Ruad Cookout
On August 19, 2025, Shields of Joyy and One Love Unity came together for a powerful community cookout at De Ruad in the cut. The evening was filled with music, laughter, and unity as we shared free hotdogs, chips, and drinks with everyone who attended. It felt great to bring the community together.
