Free Educational Field Trips:
Our free educational field trips are reserved for those who actively support Shields of Joyy by attending our fundraisers and paid events. Your participation makes these opportunities possible — and helps us continue creating positive experiences.

Marine State Park Getaway

Join Shields of Joyy for our Easter Weekend Getaway at Marine State Park from April 3rd–April 6th. Transportation is provided, and payment plans are available. Spots are limited, so be sure to register early!

Grief Share Group

Shields of Joyy is proud to support Gerry Shields- Travis in launching her first of many online GriefShare Groups. To make these sessions more accessible, Shields of Joy will sponsor scholarships that cover the registration fee, which includes the participation book for the 13 week program. By accepting this scholarships, we hope you’ll embark on a journey of healing and connection. Reach out to 412-651-0543 for any questions you may have.

Lent Fundraisers For The Youth

Every ticket purchased and every meal enjoyed at our Fish Fry Fundraiser and Jazz Night on April 4th is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity for our youth!

With your support, we’re giving kids the chance to go on educational field trips and experience life beyond Pittsburgh. These experiences open doors to new cultures, careers, and possibilities that they may have never imagined.

On November 5th, 2024, we hosted an incredible Voting Watch Party filled with great food, beverages, and an electric atmosphere as we watched the elections unfold. Thank you yo everyone who joined us!
