A Year of Joy and Impact

Visiting the Black in Wax Museum was an unforgettable experience for our Shields of Joyy adventurers! From examining lifelike exhibits to learning about influential figures, the kids explored history in an interactive and inspiring way. The trip brought our community together, creating joy-filled memories while encouraging curiosity and pride in Black heritage.

Our Shields of Joyy kids spent three unforgettable days at the Marine State Park, camping under the open sky and enjoying a variety of fun and educational activities. From painting and exciting races the children laughed, learned, and bonded with one another. It was a memorable adventure full of teamwork, creativity, and joy—a true celebration of nature, friendship, and community.

Our Shields of Joyy All-White Fundraising Event brought together supporters for a night of elegance, laughter, and celebration. Guests enjoyed delicious food, lively entertainment, and meaningful connections—all while supporting our mission to bring joy and educational opportunities to children in our community. It was an unforgettable evening filled with fun, camaraderie, and generosity.

A day at the Cleveland Zoo brought smiles and laughter for our Shields of Joyy kids! They explored fascinating animals, enjoyed the sights, and shared unforgettable moments with friends. This trip was not just about fun—it was about learning, discovering, and celebrating the joy of new experiences.

One of the talented performers at our Trinity Harmony Event, held every 2nd and 4th Sunday, took the stage to share their gift of gospel music. These events provide a special opportunity for artists to showcase their talents while raising funds to support Shields of Joyy’s programs for children, bringing the community together through music, joy, and generosity.

Our Shields of Joyy team had the joy of giving back at the Dread Cookout, distributing food and clothing to members of the community. It was a deeply fulfilling experience to see smiles, gratitude, and connection, reminding us why giving back and supporting those in need is at the heart of everything we do.

Delivering food to homes of elderly and shut-in individuals allowed Shields of Joyy to share kindness, warmth, and nourishment. Each visit was an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and show that our community cares for all its members.
